IIT Roorkee has entered its 175thyear on 25th November 2021, and is celebrating its success along with its alumni, students, staff, and the academic and industrial diaspora around the world. From its origin as Roorkee Engineering College in 1847, it has carried various names but has always remained as an eminent, globally respected centre of top quality education and research.
